I love coming to get my teeth cleaned at Family Dental Sunnyvale because it feels like I am going to a family member's place to have my teeth cleaned. Everyone there is so sweet and warm, from the front desk to when I lay down and get my teeth cleaned. As someone with chronic teeth problems, I’ve been to several different dental offices across several different countries. And can honestly say Dr Nahid is one of the best dentists out there! So kind and calming to work with. Her team is also great: Sonia at the front is very welcoming and the support staff helping with the cleanings and X-rays are also very thorough and accommodating. They definitely put their patients first over profits!

I’ve always been deterred by dentists that just work, but not passionate about their craft. Dr. Tran on the other hand is a true master of his craft, never missing a beat when communicating what he is doing and why. He is also gentle when working, pays attention to his patients experiences and finds ways to overcome what they didn’t like about their past experiences. I had clicking and popping in my jaw, while not being able to have a completely bite down. But after going to Dr. Nirvana she helped me fix my jaw and neck problems with Invisalign, now I am able to bite down on a sandwich. also love the way she leaves my teeth clean after each visit. I visited Family Dental Sunnyvale as a new patient in November 2022. I enjoyed getting a text to remind me of my appointment and another text with a link giving me the option to fill out the intake forms online instead of in the office (it was super easy). When I arrived, I went straight into an exam chair and a super nice technician took a full set of x-rays, as required/expected as a new patient. Dr. Hadameh was gentle, communicated well, and always checked in regarding my comfort. She was even able to remove irritating remnants of cement from old orthodontic work and smooth a sharp area on a tooth that caused me some pain. The team at Family Dental Sunnyvale is friendly and professional and they do quality work. I left with a big smile knowing that my teeth were clean and that I have a good dentist who will help me keep my teeth healthy. Best dentist experience I've ever had!

Dr. Hadameh and her staff are amazing and wonderful! They are friendly, kind, and take the time to build a relationship with you as a patient. The cleanings are great. They run very efficiently and don't overbook so you are in and out of the office quickly and on with your day. I've always been offered numbing to help ease the discomfort with cleaning and have always been offered fluoride after the cleanings. Dr. Hadameh with her thorough examination of my x-rays had noticed that my tooth that was previously fixed with a root canal had gotten reinfected and was starting to degrade my jaw bone. She referred me to an excellent endodontist who fixed me right up. Because of her early detection I was able to save my tooth and only had to undergo the simplest of root canal repairs. Dr. Hadameh is fantastic with her demeanor while you are in the chair. She recommends the best care, explaining the reasoning behind her recommendations, but still recognizes the patient's decision making autonomy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hadameh and Family Dental Sunnyvale.

I had very bad experiences with western dental, and one of my friends referred me to Dr Nirvana. Western dental ruined my bite and told me a few of my teeth needed root canal. After 8 years none of those teeth have given me any problem thanks to Dr Nirvana’s good diagnosis capabilities. She also fixed my bite.

I have been going to Family Dental for several years now. Both Dr. Nahid Hadameh, Dr. Nirvana Anoosheh are very knowledgeable. They take great care of my dental hygiene. The office is very clean and beautiful plants everywhere. They make sure safety is number one priority. They take your temperature and they wear triple layer of protection when working with patients. They treat you as family and they are very kind and caring doctors. I definitely recommend anyone who’s having tooth aches, needs cleaning, and major dental work. You’re in great hands.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a dentist office. Dr.Nirvana was very professional as well as her staff. Her dental hygienist's are very well trained and I felt extremely comfortable. By far my favorite dentist! First, Dr Nirvana Anoosheh is a big proponent of NOT doing lots of unnecessary work. Other dentists I've been to drill everything they can find (possibly because it means they get to charge you more??). With cavities, for example, Dr Anoosheh thinks it's a real shame to destroy and artificially replace your teeth when the cavity is minor and brushing and flossing well could cause them to recede. Instead, she watches them and only fills them if they are not getting better over time. Dr Anoosheh also teaches at UCSF and is happy to teach you about your teeth while working on them! It's cool to see what they're looking at when they take x-rays of my teeth! Finally, my visits always feel very personal. Everyone there seems to remember me. They also remember that I like to play with the suction tool, so they just have me use the suction tool myself while they work, which is great fun (:

The name says it all. Everyone here genuinely feels like part of the family. I've been to a handful of dentists in the bay and ended up switching to Family Dental, via a recommendation from a friend, after observing some less-than-comfortable hygiene practices at my prior dentist (I'll admit, I'm probably a bit pickier than the average person). My family has now been coming here for over 4 years and, unless we move out of the bay, we've found our permanent family dentist.

I am a person that hates going to the dentist, but at Family Dental I feel very comfortable and have the utmost faith in their skill. I love the fact that if I can’t get in to see my dentist soon enough there is another doctor that can take me with the same ability to take care of me. I went to a lot of Dentists, but I haven't seen anybody like Dr. Hadameh to help me while thinking out of the box.I only wished I knew about her sooner. She and her team are very well manners, friendly and really down to earth. She is very sweet and answer to all of my questions. Also, she always asking if I have any pains.She even put on Kpop music for me while I was there. They are like one big family. She always goes above and beyond.I really really recommend her!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Nirvana. Her diagnosis is very accurate and she takes time to explain dental issues. My previous dentist wanted me to have two teeth root canal and crowned while I had no pain and I still could keep those teeth for a few more years. Dr. Nirvana saved my teeth with no root canal. She never pushes for more services than are absolutely necessary!

She takes great care and time in diagnosing issues and has consistently made recommendations based on what's best for my long term well being as opposed to the aggressive treatments recommended by dentists who are looking to maximize their short term gain from the patient.Dr Anoosheh is a clinical professor at the highly acclaimed UCSF medical school and is very knowledgeable about the cutting edge techniques in the field . She uses top notch vendors and colleagues and is very demanding of them, which is great for her patients, I recall how she returned the crown I needed to the lab until they were able to get an exact fit at no expense to me.Finally the office is really friendly and welcoming, patients are treated like family and they will go to great lengths to provide great customer care. As someone with chronic teeth problems, I’ve been to several different dental offices across several different countries. And can honestly say Dr Nahid is one of the best dentists out there! So kind and calming to work with. Her team is also great: Sonia at the front is very welcoming and the support staff helping with the cleanings and X-rays are also very thorough and accommodating. I’ve always been deterred by dentists that just work, but not passionate about their craft. Dr. Tran on the other hand is a true master of his craft, never missing a beat when communicating what he is doing and why. He is also gentle when working, pays attention to his patients experiences and finds ways to overcome what they didn’t like about their past experiences. But after going to Dr. Nirvana she helped me fix my jaw and neck problems with Invisalign, now I am able to bite down on a sandwich. also love the way she leaves my teeth clean after each visit. I visited Family Dental Sunnyvale as a new patient in November 2022. I enjoyed getting a text to remind me of my appointment and another text with a link giving me the option to fill out the intake forms online instead of in the office (it was super easy). When I arrived, I went straight into an exam chair and a super nice technician took a full set of x-rays, as required/expected as a new patient. Dr. Hadameh was gentle, communicated well, and always checked in regarding my comfort. She was even able to remove irritating remnants of cement from old orthodontic work and smooth a sharp area on a tooth that caused me some pain. The team at Family Dental Sunnyvale is friendly and professional and they do quality work. I left with a big smile knowing that my teeth were clean and that I have a good dentist who will help me keep my teeth healthy. Best dentist experience I've ever had!

Dr. Hadameh and her staff are amazing and wonderful! They are friendly, kind, and take the time to build a relationship with you as a patient. The cleanings are great. They run very efficiently and don't overbook so you are in and out of the office quickly and on with your day. I've always been offered numbing to help ease the discomfort with cleaning and have always been offered fluoride after the cleanings. Dr. Hadameh with her thorough examination of my x-rays had noticed that my tooth that was previously fixed with a root canal had gotten reinfected and was starting to degrade my jaw bone. She referred me to an excellent endodontist who fixed me right up. Because of her early detection I was able to save my tooth and only had to undergo the simplest of root canal repairs. Dr. Hadameh is fantastic with her demeanor while you are in the chair. She recommends the best care, explaining the reasoning behind her recommendations, but still recognizes the patient's decision making autonomy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hadameh and Family Dental Sunnyvale.

I had very bad experiences with western dental, and one of my friends referred me to Dr Nirvana. Western dental ruined my bite and told me a few of my teeth needed root canal. After 8 years none of those teeth have given me any problem thanks to Dr Nirvana’s good diagnosis capabilities. She also fixed my bite.

By far my favorite dentist! First, Dr Nirvana Anoosheh is a big proponent of NOT doing lots of unnecessary work. Other dentists I've been to drill everything they can find (possibly because it means they get to charge you more??). With cavities, for example, Dr Anoosheh thinks it's a real shame to destroy and artificially replace your teeth when the cavity is minor and brushing and flossing well could cause them to recede. Instead, she watches them and only fills them if they are not getting better over time. Dr Anoosheh also teaches at UCSF and is happy to teach you about your teeth while working on them! It's cool to see what they're looking at when they take x-rays of my teeth! Finally, my visits always feel very personal. Everyone there seems to remember me. They also remember that I like to play with the suction tool, so they just have me use the suction tool myself while they work, which is great fun (:

The name says it all. Everyone here genuinely feels like part of the family. I've been to a handful of dentists in the bay and ended up switching to Family Dental, via a recommendation from a friend, after observing some less-than-comfortable hygiene practices at my prior dentist (I'll admit, I'm probably a bit pickier than the average person). My family has now been coming here for over 4 years and, unless we move out of the bay, we've found our permanent family dentist.

I have know Dr. Hadameh as my family dentist my entire life. She and her staff have always been very friendly, professional and accommodating to me for my every visit. As long as she continues to be a dentist, I will continue to go. From minor jobs, to making crowns, straightening my teeth and recently doing a cosmetic work on my upper teeth, I have always been happy and super thankful.Dr. Nahid is very patient and professional, most importantly she is very honest and staff are extremely kind and very organized with scheduling and sending reminders. 100% recommended for children and adults. Family dental has been my go to dentist for quite some time now. They are always friendly and treat me with their best service. I've never gone home dissatisfied and will continue to go here in the future. One thing I like the most about their practice is that they are professional and clean. Dr. Hadameh is a caring and knowledgeable dentist. She always takes time to ask how my teeth are, if I have any concerns, or if there is anything they can do to help. They accommodate my busy schedule and all the office workers are very attentive and friendly. The last time I was there, their very attentive hygienist noticed that I have been brushing too hard, explained to me that it causes gum recession and leads to sensitivity! That’s why my teeth are sensitive not because of cavities! Overall great experience and hoping their suggestions will help my tooth sensitivity. Thank you all!

Dr. Nirvana, Dr. Nahid, Homeyra, Sonya and the team is extremely customer oriented providing professional care. Prior to being a patient at family dental, I had treat cavities and other dental work frequently. I highly recommend the regular dental cleanings as a preventative measure. It's an excellent practice.

I've been seeing Dr. Anoosheh for almost 20 years now, and she's always been a very friendly and very skilled practitioner. The same goes for all the employees at this location - always excellent service with a smile. The scheduling has always been straightforward and they've always provided plenty of assistance navigating through insurance coverage. I was able to get Invisalign completed in a fairly painless 8-month span thanks to the Dr.'s recommendations and am very pleased with the results. Even after moving about 15 miles further away, I still prefer the service here over anywhere else.

I went to a lot of Dentists, but I haven't seen anybody like Dr. Hadameh to help me while thinking out of the box.I only wished I knew about her sooner. She and her team are very well manners, friendly and really down to earth. She is very sweet and answer to all of my questions. Also, she always asking if I have any pains.She even put on Kpop music for me while I was there. They are like one big family. She always goes above and beyond.I really really recommend her!!!

You will not find a better dentist! I've seen many dentists in my life time, and Dr. Nirvana and her staff are the best. The staff is providing the friendliest service that every time made me feel like at home. Dr. Nirvana is very personable and always remembers things about me and treats me like she would with family. She always went through every procedure in details and making sure that I understand why and how. She has saved me a few teeth with her recommendation that they needed to go through root canal, gum surgery and dental implant. She then finished up with the perfect crown work on these teeth.You will appreciate her thorough procedures and attention to details. And at the same time with gentle touches and a great sense of humor. I've been under Dr. Nirvana dental care for more than two years now and continued looking forward to my appointments with her.

I had a chance to shadow Dr. Anoosheh this summer and it was the greatest experience of my whole life. I learnt a lot form her and got to know her not only as a dentist but also as a teacher. I highly recommend Dr. Nirvana. Her diagnosis is very accurate and she takes time to explain dental issues. My previous dentist wanted me to have two teeth root canal and crowned while I had no pain and I still could keep those teeth for a few more years. Dr. Nirvana saved my teeth with no root canal. She never pushes for more services than are absolutely necessary!

She takes great care and time in diagnosing issues and has consistently made recommendations based on what's best for my long term well being as opposed to the aggressive treatments recommended by dentists who are looking to maximize their short term gain from the patient.Dr Anoosheh is a clinical professor at the highly acclaimed UCSF medical school and is very knowledgeable about the cutting edge techniques in the field . She uses top notch vendors and colleagues and is very demanding of them, which is great for her patients, I recall how she returned the crown I needed to the lab until they were able to get an exact fit at no expense to me.Finally the office is really friendly and welcoming, patients are treated like family and they will go to great lengths to provide great customer care. Dr. Nirvana is the most amazing dentist i have met in my life.. If you are scared of going, or putting it off because you're worried about the pain, this is the right place for you. She always makes me so comfortable with the numbing injections, always spends time checking on me and gives me the best service i've ever had at a dental office. I have been a customer of her for many years and because of my sweet tooth, will likely be her customer for years to come..
